High School Researcher Crystal Li Accepted to Present Poster at SPSP 2023

Crystal, a current high school student and researcher with the War and Peace Lab was recently accepted to present her submission "Thinking the opposite: How trust in scientific claims is influenced by the opinions of political opponents" at the Society for Personality and Social Psychology 2023 Annual Convention. Her study aims to validate a new scale instrument that assesses American epistemological beliefs about science to learn whether individuals hold an accurate and sophisticated view of science, the scientific research process, and the impact of science in general.
